Caring for someone shouldn't mean guessing

Nanara makes apps for the people doing the caring. We turn what you already notice into something you can see, compare and take to the doctor — with no advertising, no noise, and no asking you to trust a hunch.

Meet NomiNest

Nobody asked whether you knew how

One day somebody depends on you. A newborn who won't sleep. A pregnancy moving along. A mother who no longer remembers whether she took the pill. Nobody handed you a manual, and everyone asks how they are doing — almost nobody asks how you are.

The most exhausting part of caring isn't the tiredness: it's the doubt. Is this normal? Did something change? Should I be worried? You make small decisions all day without knowing whether they're the right ones, and at three in the morning there's nobody to ask.

That's why Nanara exists. Not to keep count of anything, but so that what you're already noticing stops living only in your head.

Logging is the means, not the point

See the change, not the isolated number

A number on its own says nothing; the difference from last week does. Our apps compare each person against themselves, not against a table.

Arrive at the appointment with something in hand

What you noted down over weeks comes out as a tidy document, so the visit doesn't depend on your memory at seven in the morning.

Don't care alone

The people you invite see what you see, straight away. Caring as a team starts with looking at the same thing.

Know when to ask

We tell you which signs professionals look at, and from which source. The decision stays theirs; the information stops being a mystery.

OUT NOW

NomiNest

Your baby's whole day, on one screen

Sleep, feeds, nappies, health and routines. Built to be used one-handed, in the dark, at three in the morning.

  • The routine is built from your baby's real times, and rearranges itself when the day goes sideways.
  • Wake windows by age, not a fixed table that ignores where the day came from.
  • Vaccines, medication, symptoms and appointments, ready to print before the visit.
  • Every caregiver you invite, kept in sync: mum, dad, grandparents or nanny.

Four things you won't find here

  • Advertising

None, in any app, ever. Your family's data is not sold, not shared with advertisers and not fed into any profile.

  • Artificial intelligence

We don't use it. When one of our apps claims something about sleep, growth or symptoms, there's a cited source behind it, not a model guessing.

  • Diagnoses

We are not a medical device and we say so on the screen itself. We give you what you observed, in order; the judgement is your doctor's.

  • An interest in keeping you here

With no ads there's no reason for you to spend more time inside. The best session in our apps is the shortest one.

One house, several doors

The three arches in the symbol aren't decoration: they're stages. Across a lifetime we care for someone at very different moments, and each moment asks for different tools — but the same calm, and the same way of handling data.

NomiNest is the first door, and more are on the way. Nanara comes from nanas, the Spanish word for lullabies: a calm voice at the end of a long day. We are an independent studio in Bogotá, and we make few apps so we can make them well.
